McGee for appointment to the rank of lieutenant general and assignment as Director for Strategy, Plans and Policy, J5, Joint Staff/Senior Member, United States Delegation to the United Nations Military Staff, Washington, DC. He is currently serving as Vice Director, J-5, Joint Staff, Washington, DC.
