Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III has announced that the President has nominated:
Major General Christopher C. LaNeve, United States Army, for appointment to the rank of lieutenant general and assignment as Commanding General, Eighth Army/Chief of Staff, Combined Forces Command, Republic of Korea. He is currently serving as Commanding General, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Liberty, North Carolina.
